What parents ask first
Hypnobirthing is practical antenatal preparation combining breathing, deep relaxation, focused attention and a clear understanding of how labour works.
You practise the tools before birth so they feel familiar when you need them. They can sit alongside your maternity care and support you wherever and however your baby arrives.
The change
You will have a practical toolkit, a shared language and a clearer idea of what to do next.
Breathing and deep-relaxation tools you practise before labour, so they feel familiar when you need them.
Plain-English teaching about labour, hormones and the fear–tension cycle, without jargon or judgement.
Practical ways to support, communicate, help you feel supported during labour.
Preparation for birth as it really happens, including when preferences or circumstances change.
Inside the course
We meet for four private sessions, with time in between to practise and make a note of anything you want to ask.
across four private sessions for you and your birth partner
Understand
The physiology of labour, the role of hormones and why fear can create tension. Clear knowledge makes the process feel less mysterious.
Regulate
Breathing patterns, visualisation and guided relaxation, with time to practise between sessions.
Work together
Touch, massage, scripts, communication and practical ways to protect the space, ask useful questions and help you stay connected.
Stay flexible
Induction, theatre and unexpected turns. Build preferences that can flex and learn how the same toolkit supports different birth paths.
The honest bit
The course cannot promise how your birth will go. We focus on understanding your options, practising breathing and relaxation, and helping your birth partner feel prepared to support you.
“An incredible yoga and hypnobirthing teacher. The course was hugely informative, helpful and also fun.”

Ask your own question →It is practical antenatal preparation using breathing, deep relaxation, focused attention and birth education. You rehearse the tools before labour so they are easier to reach for on the day.
Many parents begin between 20 and 34 weeks, which leaves time to practise. Earlier or later can still be useful, so ask me if your timing falls outside that window.
Yes. Your partner is included throughout. They learn the relaxation cues, touch techniques, communication tools and the practical role they can take during labour.
The course prepares you for more than one version of birth. Breathing, relaxation, clear communication and flexible preferences remain useful when circumstances change, alongside advice from your maternity team.
No. I don’t make a perfect-birth promise. My aim is to help you feel informed, equipped and more able to respond to the birth you actually experience.
They complement one another, but they are different. Weekly pregnancy yoga includes some hypnobirthing breathwork; the private eight-hour course teaches the complete birth-preparation toolkit.
Hear first
Course dates, retreat weeks and new classes go to my class list before anywhere else. No noise — just a short note when something worth knowing opens up.
Your next step
One course. Four private sessions. A toolkit that belongs to both of you.
